A craftsperson applying warm stone-coloured microcement by hand

The thinking behind SIK

One person.
One clear process.

A bathroom comes together better when the ideas, practical work and finishing details are considered together.

SIK Bathrooms combines complete bathroom design and build with specialist microcement application. From the first conversation to the final finish, the aim is simple: fewer gaps, clearer decisions and a room that feels resolved.

What matters

“The best result isn’t the loudest room. It’s the one where everything feels like it belongs.”

That means beginning with how the space needs to work, then developing its layout, light, storage, fittings and surfaces as one complete thought.

It also means staying close to the work. The small decisions made during installation are often the ones that separate an acceptable bathroom from a beautifully resolved one.

Made by hand

Seamless doesn’t mean characterless.

Microcement is built up by hand in fine layers. Its subtle movement is part of the material—not a printed pattern repeated across the room.

Used with restraint, it can make a compact room feel calmer, connect difficult surfaces and allow the important details to breathe.

The SIK approach

Calm rooms.
Careful work.

01

Consider the whole

Plan the visible design and the practical construction as one job.

02

Keep it personal

Make decisions with the person doing the work, without layers of hand-off.

03

Finish properly

Give junctions, edges, light and material transitions the attention they deserve.
